To kick things off for the first email of 2026, I’m going to take a step back and let Optic-Kleer MD, David Overton do the talking as he wanted to share a New Year’s message directly with you:
“Hello and Happy New Year! I hope you and your families are well, and you all enjoyed a well-deserved break.
Before I talk about anything else, I just wanted to thank you for continuing to follow what’s happening at Optic-Kleer and for taking the time to read our updates. While you may not yet be part of our network, we value your interest and hope you enjoy following our journey as we move into 2026.
I am also delighted to reintroduce John Overdijking as your main contact for the Optic-Kleer franchise. He took over from Rob Dancy back in autumn after he moved on to a new career himself. John is very experienced in working with all different kinds of franchises, as well as people like you who are looking for the right opportunity. If you haven’t had the chance to talk to him yet, I know you will find him very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
He always includes a link to schedule a call in every email he sends, so please feel free to set up a chat. He’ll never put you under any pressure, and is always happy to help.
2025 was all about building the foundations of something bigger and better
For everyone here at the Optic-Kleer franchise, the last 12 months have been all about laying the groundwork for even better growth and opportunity in the future. We’ve focused on making our systems smoother, strengthening our partnerships, and protecting the quality and reputation of the Optic-Kleer brand. Some of the highlights include:
- Streamlining digital systems and invoicing processes
- Improving integration with insurance and billing partners
- Reinforcing Optic-Kleer standards and best practices across the network
- Seeing a big rise in jobs and job value through our first year with Auto Windscreens
- Building even greater visibility through our new partnership with ASDA
2026 is looking to be our most incredible year yet
We never stop looking for ways to improve what we offer customers and franchisees, but this next year is less about change, and more about building on everything we did in 2025. We’ve built the platform - now it’s about helping you make the most of it. Our focus will be on:
- Refining systems and digital tools
- Expanding and improving insurance and billing relationships
- Developing concession opportunities for even more visibility and growth
- Supporting franchisees to maximise repair volumes and profitability
- Providing ongoing training, guidance, and operational support
- Maintaining the consistency and quality that makes Optic-Kleer trusted and reliable
2026 really will be the year of serious opportunity for anyone looking to join our network of business owners.
With these solid foundations in place, new franchisees can step in with confidence, and existing franchisees can plan, grow, and take advantage of every chance to increase their business.
